Who Should Participate in the Training?

This session is targeted at an individual or team that are new (or fairly new) to Adobe InDesign.  Through this session, you will learn the basics of page layout using InDesign including setting up grids, working with typography, utilizing color and controlling frames and working with graphics.

What are the session requirements?

Because this is a hands-on experience, participants are required to have access to Adobe InDesign on their computer.  You can get a trial version of InDesign by visiting the Adobe website.

Where are training sessions held?

Training sessions are conducted at the Mansfield Art Center.

Do you train at company locations?

Yes.  I stay local when conducting training sessions.  I am happy to come to your office if that is more convenient for your staff.  It is highly recommended that all participants have access to their computers during the training for a more interactive hands-on experience and to follow along through the lessons.

Are there group discounts?

Yes.  My pricing structure starts at individual basis and branches into tiered group pricing based on the number of participants.  For more information, please contact me.

Do you provide assets for the workshop?

Yes.  One week prior to the session starting, all participants will receive an invite from Dropbox to download all lesson files and assets to use during the training session.

Do you provide support after the training?

Yes.  Participants are welcome to email me questions on projects they are working on and I am happy to assist.  I also provide tutorials and insight to InDesign on my blog page based on the most popular questions or requests I receive. Please allow 1 – 2 business days for a reply to a question relating to InDesign.

Are you an Adobe Certified Instructor?

No. I have been a graphic designer for 20 years and have utilized InDesign for 14 years.  My session fees also reflect that I am not a certified instructor as they are significantly lower.  My goal is to provide you with the insight to feel comfortable with the program and release your own creative powers on your projects.
